StreetShimon Spotlight: Ferocious Chalking
Everyday, thousands of our amazing StreetShimon street-teamers are facebooking, tweeting, hanging up posters, and passing out flyers for bands and festivals around the country! In this case, they’re making some fantastically ferocious (okay, okay, these bears look pretty friendly) chalk art in the spirit of Bear Creek Music Festival in NovembRoarrr!

Dave Matthews Band Caravan: Governors Island
As Irene continues to tumble towards the coast, the Dave Matthews Band Caravan at Governors Island, NY vivaciously strives through the hurricane frenzy. The Caravan has chosen to open its gates Friday and WET volunteers and patrons were still able to enjoy the first day of the festival.
Citizen Cope, O.A.R., and The Wood Brothers are amongst some of the bands...
NYC DMB CARAVAN WEATHER UPDATE
FESTIVAL WEATHER UPDATE NYC DMB VOLUNTEERS —- The Governor of New York has issued a state of emergency, therefore the DMB Caravan events on Saturday, August 27th and Sunday, August 28th have been postponed. We will announce the new Caravan Governors Island dates as soon as we hear.
THE SHOW IS STILL ON FOR TODAY, FRIDAY so if you are scheduled to work we’ll see you here...
